New Orleans Saints Review

Didn’t this used to be a podcast? What happened?
Life happened! To be more specific, the birth of my beautiful daughter   Free time is at an absolute minimum these days and so I decided to end The New Orleans Saints Review podcast for the time being.

It was a difficult decision in that I really, truly enjoyed hosting the show.  I loved talking Saints football with so many dedicated listeners each week during the season.  But, family first!  As much as I love hosting the show, I love my little one even more.

So, what now?
While the podcast is no more, this blog will take its place.  I plan on sharing my views on the Saints through NOSReview.com and will continue to review games.

About Me
My name is Eric and I’m a New Orleans Saints Fan. Yes, it does sound like an AA meeting but that’s only because the Saints have long been an obsession in my life.

I’m not from New Orleans – I’m born and raised in Pennsylvania. I became a Saints fan when I was about 8 years old, way back in 1986. It was hard growing up amongst so many Eagles, Steelers and Redskins fans. The Saints were rarely on TV, you were lucky to find a t-shirt and there was no one to talk about the team with.

Fortunatley, the internet and NFL Sunday Ticket have allowed me to feel like a true member of the ‘Nawlins community in recent years.

I’ve only been to the Superdome once and it was during the magical 2000 season. Since I’m close to Baltimore, I have seen the team when they come to visit the Ravens. See me below with my Ricky jersey in the Dome (it was a long time ago):
