R.I.P. Norman Hand
Former Saints DT Norman Hand was a popular member of the 2000 NFC West championship team.
It was really shocking to hear that former Saints defensive tackle Norman Hand
passed away at the age of 37. The “Big Wiggle” was part of one of the Saints’ most memorable teams, the 2000 NFC West champs. He, along with La’Roi Glover, Joe Johnson and Darren Howard were probably the best defensive line in the league that year.
Hand always seemed like a big teddy bear who really loved life. It’s just terrible to think that he was only on this earth for such a short period of time.
My thoughts go out to his family, friends and fans. He’ll be missed by us all.
